Launched the React version of Flowbite Pro, introduced Figma properties, a headless CMS integration with Blocks and 2022 year recap
In this newsletter I'll talk about the new Flowbite Figma update which introduces properties feature, a long-awaited React version of Flowbite Pro and a guide on how to integrate Suncel with Flowbite.
Hey everyone 👋
This is the first newsletter edition on Substack after we learned that Revue will shut down in the next few weeks — it’s sad news, but we’ll adapt. We have automatically imported all existing subscribers to Substack so you will keep receiving updates just as before.
Flowbite Pro React Dashboard
Since the last edition, we kept working on the Flowbite Ecosystem and I am proud to announce that we have finally released the React version of the Flowbite Pro Dashboard Interface with the help of one of our community members.

This update comes free for all pro license holders and we will keep integrating all of the current and future pro components using the Flowbite React library.
All of the previous pages have been integrated including the Kanban board, the charts, the CRUD layouts, and the mailing layouts. The project is based on TypeScript and supports dark mode and fully responsive layouts.
Here’s a preview of the main page:
This is just one of the updates from a long list of roadmap features that we plan to ship based on the Flowbite React library and we’re excited for the next year’s releases.
Flowbite Pro Figma v2.4.0
We also updated the Flowbite Figma file to v2.4.0 by introducing properties to components such as buttons, alerts, and forms and also refactored some of the variants. As always, the update is available on the “My Downloads“ page.

These new Figma properties can help you to update the content inside of the components such as placeholder and label text for form elements and the text inside of the buttons.
We also improved the dark mode version of the badges and alert components by using a more prominent colored border and a better contrast for the background color.
You can check out the full changelog and a preview of the new update.
Headless CMS in Next.js + Flowbite = Power 🔥
With the help of our friends from Suncel, we also published a post and video about a guide on how you can integrate a headless CMS based on Next.js with the blocks collection from Flowbite.
This is a powerful stack that can help you modify content on websites really fast without having to custom-build a fully-fledged administrative area just to let your client change text inside your website without your direct help.
This is our second-ever video on our YouTube channel and we plan on releasing new how-to tutorials in 2023 with the help of our community.
Flowbite recap of 2022 and going into 2023
This is probably the last newsletter item that I will write before the end of this year so here’s a list of achievements for the Flowbite Ecosystem this year:
The Flowbite Library reached over 1 million downloads on NPM
The GitHub repository reached over 3,000 stars
We developed up to 52 standalone components for the Flowbite Library
#3 on Product Hunt for Flowbite v2.0 and Blocks
Built over 250+ website sections for the Flowbite Blocks collection
Released new Application UI, Marketing UI, and publisher UI categories and lots of Flowbite Figma updates
Flowbite React has advanced a lot thanks to the community (special shoutout to Ricardo Luders for maintaining the repository)
Flowbite Svelte has also advanced a lot thanks to the community (special shoutout to Shinichi Okada)
Flowbite Vue has also come a long way and we are optimistic we can have a release next year with most of the components (big thanks to everyone and to Ilya Artamonov for maintaining the library)
… and many many more!
Going into the next year we plan on shipping the following things:
Fully integrated the pro version of Flowbite into React, Svelte, Vue, and Angular by reinvesting the money we’ve made by hiring community members
Release a Knowledge Center area to help everyone get started with the Figma Design System with tutorial videos and how-to guides
Expand the current set of open-source components and the blocks collection with new sections and pages
Release Flowbite Templates with fully-fledged pages and admin dashboard layout
Release videos and tutorials on our blog more often
Release the main Flowbite Library with TypeScript support and CJS/ESM module exports instead of just UDM (as it is currently with v1.5.5)
… and more unseen updates!
I wish you all happy holidays and a happy new year! 🥳
Kindly yours,
